Do we have the benefit of dietary fiber in raw oatmeal? The short answer is yes. Oatmeal is nutritionally the best breakfast cereal, as it has a high dietary fiber and whole grain content and low sugar content. This also applies if you eat it like porridge.Oatmeal is not quite raw. Oat grain has been subjected to a steaming before being rolled and roasted, so the starch has to a certain extent puffed up and thereby made accessible to the small intestinal enzymes. How does dietary fiber?
We distinguish roughly between two types of fiber – soluble and insoluble. The soluble fiber reduces gastric emptying rate, thus becoming digestion and absorption processes better. Why is fiber important?
Dietary fiber prevents constipation, diarrheal, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammation of the bulges of the colon, and possibly colon cancer. Fiber works lowering of blood cholesterol and triglycerides. Fiber keeps you fuller longer and keeps stomach started. It is not yet clear whether the beneficial effects due to dietary fiber alone or fibrous foods as such. Therefore, recommend DVFA that eating both whole grain products, fruits and vegetables, all of which contain dietary fiber.
Why are whole grains important?
Most types of whole grains contain lots of fibers, vitamins and minerals. There is a tendency that whole grains do not eat for a long time and keep the stomach in the process. Whole grains are acknowledged for their health-promoting ability associated with cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and some forms of cancer

Pecans are true small vitamin bombs with more than 19 different vitamins and minerals.
